what items do I bring?
 

What to bring for your dog:

Food (only enough for his stay, or an extra days worth)

Collar (snug fitting preferred, no dangling collars)*

Bedding (optional)- it must be small enough to fit in standard sized washing machine if it needs to be washed

Blanket (optional)

Toys: limit to two (optional)

Treats (optional)

Medications (optional, heartworm pills)

 

What not to bring for your dog:

Food bowls (we have enough, all bowls need to be sanitized after every meal)

A whole bag of food (5-8 lb bags okay)

Anything you don’t want destroyed or played with by other dogs (toys, beds, blankets)

*if your dog requires a crate, and you are concerned about him catching himself on the rungs of the crate- send a collar with no tags attached OR send along a collar that is fasten by a snap closure.-so that I am easily able to put it back on. Do not send your dog with a collar that has a belt style closure and expect it to be taken on and off.
